Blue Diamond Almond Breeze

When I first realized my body has formed an aversion for lactose, I felt completely let down and abandoned. Cereal has always been one of my favorite snack foods, and I was under the assumption I had to give it up completely. I could occasionally use an assortment of lactose-free milks to complete my breakfast most days, but since finding out my body could no longer tolerate lactose, even the smell of milk made me cringe. Then I decided to try out Blue Diamond Almond Breeze. I was amazed. I love the taste of almonds, so even the original is good...and there is no reminder that it is milk unless I look at it (doesn't have that faint 'milk' aroma to it)...and it works out great when used in a variety of recipes calling for milk as well! It offers more calcium than traditional milk products, and doesn't leave that curious 'milk' aftertaste that I'm sure most of you are familiar with. Thank goodness for this saving grace...now I can enjoy cereal again, anytime I want it!
