Review: The Deadly Jellybean Affair

The Deadly Jellybean Affair The Deadly Jellybean Affair by Carrie Marsh
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed reading this mystery novel. I felt it has a lighter feel to it, despite the fact the main mystery focuses on what caused a girl's death. I loved getting to know Mary and Alabaster, and seeing how in tune he was with her son, Andrew. The mystery itself had me guessing for a while, then I found myself hoping Mary would discover a hidden escape hatch while in a stranger's house. If you are a fan of mystery books, witches, and even a talking cat (even if he's only able to converse with one person), then this book is definitely worth looking into.
